* * *Scope of Position:* Develops initial technical installation guidelines and other documentation of hardware and software standards to facilitate tracking. Maintains relationships with customers and support personnel in understanding product configuration. Performs complex audits for projects or accounts according to the configuration management plans. Implements baselines that are established and approved by the appropriate control board. Recommends and implements suggestions as appropriate. * * *Main Responsibilities:* 1. Configuration management planning 2. Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits 3. Identify and maintain original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation 4. Configuration change control, regulates change process, configuration status accounting 5. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration 6. Configuration audits, support to verify requirements of baselines have been met 7. Supports quality assurance process audits *Required Skills:* 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 2. Seven or more years of configuration management / analysis experience 3. Strong skills in configuring and installing various operating systems and application software 4. Communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and support personnel 5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems 6. Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel 7.
