Need Local to NY & NJ In-Person Required Core Java Developer with Banking Industry Experience Location - NY, NY Duration - 6 + months Rate - $45/hr on C2C Interview Process - Telephonic + In Person MID-LEVEL CORE JAVA DEVELOPERS 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE The client is currently looking for Core Java Developer(s) to help with middleware integration related to the Merrill Lynch transition. They will be working on a home-grown proprietary Core Java application that servers a similar purpose as Tibco; however, is more versatile in their environment. Ideal candidates will have experience using the following: * Messaging middleware MQ, JMS, Tibco, RV, and/or Tibco EMS. * Must have experience with XML, XSLT, XPATH, XML schemas/XSD. * Knowledge of Integration patterns. * End-to-End development. * Mapping protocols. * Bloomberg and/or Reuters interface knowledge. * Deployments & Testing. * Business events. * Knowledge of industry standards/protocols like FPML, FIX, SWIFT a huge plus. * Any experience with business analysis to define transformation, filtering and routing rules will be very helpful. * Tibco is now mandatory. MOST IMPORTANT: 1. CORE JAVA 2. MESSAGING 3. XML Financial services and/or trading experience preferred. Any prior Merrill Lynch and/or Bank of America experience is also preferred. Must have good comms skills.
