You possess excellent software engineering abilities with strong communication skills. You approach software development as a craft, more than just scratching code or creating documents. You want to create industry leading products, use cutting-edge technologies and have time to enjoy all that life has to offer. We’re a fast-growing, collaborative team looking for someone with a blend of front-end skills, particularly AngularJS, to work with our Design and Development teams helping develop web applications. Primary skills include intimate understanding of JavaScript, AngularJS and building client side web applications. We’re a tight-knit team focused on doing great work efficiently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with technical, functional teams in design and development of software applications. • Create well-designed, reusable objects in a modern development environment and test plans. • Communicate and enforce best practice coding standards to maintain the excellent code quality. • Share knowledge with others by contributing to our growing knowledge base • Assisting team members by reviewing code and providing suggestions QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED) • Able to analyze business requirements, brainstorm technology ideas and architect efficient solutions • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AngularJS • Strong programming skills - object oriented design and analysis skills • Experience with Eclipse, XML, SVN, Maven, UML, scripting • Experience in developing highly scalable, multi-threaded and distributed systems • Team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills • Experience publishing/consuming services using JSON and REST frameworks • Experience or deep understanding of TDD and CI practices. • Demonstrated ability to pragmatically work with customers and business analysts. • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills demonstrated through successfully leading large and complex change initiatives PREFERRED SKILLS • Previous Supply Chain or Logistics industry experience preferred Travel Requirements Minimal travel is required Must be eligible to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the related field. • 5-7 years’ experience developing, deploying and supporting complex computing applications in a large scale environment.
