Position : Hyperion Admin Location: New York, NY Duration: 12 months Hourly rate : DOE This is a role for a Senior level Database Administrator chiefly responsible for the administration and maintenance of Hyperion products. These products include the *Hyperion Planning Tool, Hyperion IR, and DRM, and Essbase. * · Will determine best technical solutions and support to satisfy client's functional and business requirements. · Define requirements for installing and improving related systems and determine appropriate timing for implementation of system modifications or upgrades. · Document systems design, create specification, flow charts, and other related diagrams based on user or system design specifications. · Analyze data and desired end results to develop testing and conversion plans. * Must Have Skills:* · Proficiency in Hyperion System Administraion. · Knowledge of Hyperion applications. · Knowledge of SQL, UNIX and shell scripts. · Knowledge of web architecture and infrastructure. · Knowledge of web programming languages. · Knowledge of RAC and RMAN technologies. · Knowledge of ETL and OLAP tools. · Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills. · Ability to implement and support web services. *Candidates need to have as many of the following skills as possible:* · Knowledge of Data Guard and High Availability Solutions, · PeopleSoft Technology, · Portal Technology, · Data Warehousing Solutions, · SOA/BPM Platform, · SharePlex, · OBIEE, DataStage Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
