*UI Developer - (Javascript, HTML, CSS, W3C standards.).* Number of openings – 2 Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6-12 months + Contract Skills: • Must be able to hand-code common front-end technologies *(Javascript, HTML, **CSS).* • Must be able to create interfaces that are fast, consistent across browsers, reusable widgets and demonstrate an intimate knowledge of browser quirks and best practice. • Must be able work with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and Backend teams. • Meets the project timelines with high quality code practices also incorporating innovation and constant improvements. • Can successfully deliver code and design against an existing functional or design specification. *Technical Acumen:* • Experience in building large scale eCommerce Applications/ web based User interfaces adhering with *W3C standards.* • Experience with MVC frameworks • Knowledge of common front-end technologies and frameworks *(Javascript, **HTML, CSS).* • Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web. • Knowledge of debugging tools like Firebug. *Job Scope:* • Contributes to the web development of one or more product features. • Most time spent developing web user interface code and performing unit testing. Code is well-structured and typically improves after one or more code reviews. • Produces modular code that provide sufficient test coverage for areas of responsibility. • Learning to master base web development techniques and the application of formal web development principals. • Interfaces with other functional teams on aspects of the feature. • Interfaces with senior developers on the same team regarding features and products within the team.
