Performs high complexity (i.e. application modules) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents; proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles; understanding of proper application design techniques and methodologies; knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed; knowledge of one or more of the following: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, BEA-Weblogic, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series " SOW - Application Build and Deployment Engineer - Jenkins Expert Responsibilities: * Review and recommend best practices for implementation design/architecture for Enterprise Jenkins * Review and recommend best practices for test automation using Jenkins * Setup code quality review using Sonarcube. * Setup repositories in Artifactory and enable communication between Jenkins and Artifactory. * Setup, configure and maintain Ant/Maven/Gradle jobs in Jenkins. * Work with various teams and help rollout production implementation of Jenkins and Artifactory. * Setup role based authorization for various teams in Jenkins. * Develop/generate build and deployment reports using plugins in Jenkins. * Document and provide implementation status to management. * Document issues surfaced during UAT and production implementations. * Help document standards and procedures for application build and deployment automation using Jenkins and Artifactory. * CW is expected to work off-hours during weekdays and weekends for extended support. Skill Level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs) Skills and Experience Required: * Three-to-Seven years' experience application build and deployments. * Previous experience in defining, configuring, and building applications supporting various technologies and lifecycle methodologies including years of iterative/concurrent development efforts. * Must have excellent knowledge in Jenkins CI server and Java/J2EE technologies. * Must have hands on experience in writing application build and deployment scripts using Ant/Maven * Must have hands on experience in Tomcat/Weblogic middleware servers * Excellent UNIX skills a must. * Experience in Oracle SOA is preferred Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
