Thanks Job Title: OLTP Architect Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 4 months Job Description - Strong background in OLTP database design and management; - A strong understanding of database technologies (*particularly Oracle*) and how they're best leveraged. - Experience leading developers in the application of database technologies. - Strong knowledge on all aspects of data management (formulating data principles, data policies, data standards). - Thorough knowledge of Data Modeling & Methodologies (for e.g., IE, IDF, etc.) - Expert knowledge on pros & cons of various data structures and its adaptability in multiple platforms. - Knowledge of Canonical Models & XML schema Focus on data integrity, data quality, and exception handling process - Knowledge of *Service Oriented Architecture* concepts Industry forum participation / knowledge thereof such as OAGi, UBL, RossettaNet, etc. - Knowledge of Network Management & Enterprise Management tools is considered a plus. Minimum College/Undergraduate degree (e.g. B.S/B.A) or equivalent 10 years of IT industry experience, 3 of which must have been as a Data Architect or Data Modeler The candidate should have direct experience developing OLTP systems and, as a Data Architect, with working closely with developers to provide guidance and expertise in both architecture and the database technologies in general.
