Successful candidate will be assigned as a technical resource on various projects involving C# .NET, SQL Server 2008, EDI, and BizTalk 2009, as well as performing duties such as documenting requirements, designing solutions, testing, and implementation. The Developer will be involved in multiple projects concurrently, and must be able to manage multiple assignments. Preference will be given to a candidate with a strong background in the health insurance information systems, QNXT application, and HIPAA X12 transaction sets (especially 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278). *Responsibilities:* Understand and interpret customer requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements in a project environment. Participate in project and new initiative meetings as necessary. Represent the development team, making recommendations and decisions on behalf of the team. Leads development and troubleshooting efforts of others in the group. Looks for ways to improve how and what we develop/deploy, and makes suggestions. Work on development of non-X12 EDI imports and exports, data mapping and conversion of flat-file data from multiple legacy systems. *Requirements: Education* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. *Technical Experience *C# and Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5. Transact-SQL with SQL Server 2005/2008. BizTalk 2009. EDI and knowledge of HIPAA X12 transaction sets (esp. 837, 835, 270/271). Strong business analysis/needs assessment skills; must be comfortable and effective working directly with end users. Ability to manage priorities and handle simultaneous demands; willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
