Hi, We are looking for a *Solaris Administrator - Albany, NY*. This is *18 months* contract position - The rate is DOE. * MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:* Minimum of four years experience in Solaris administration (version 8 and higher) in an Enterprise Heterogeneous computing environment. Minimum of four years Networking experience, including servers, routers and switches. Minimum of four years experience with recent and current versions of a major distribution of Linux. *DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:* At least 2 years experience supporting Solaris Operating environments running Oracle Databases. At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of RedHat Linux operating system versions 3, 4, and 5. At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Veritas Volume Manager and File System. At least 2 years experience supporting Unix Operating environments running PeopleSoft 8 three-tier applications. At least 2 years experience in the configuration of enterprise firewalls. At least 1 year experience supporting Sendmail or PostFix in an email environment that includes Microsoft Exchange. At least 1 year experience in the installation, administration and support of MacroMedia ColdFusion MX in a distributed 3 tier environment. At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Veritas NetBackup running in a mixed Unix/Windows environment. At least 1 year experience in the installation, administration and support of Solaris 10. At least 1 year experience supporting and configuring BIND on Unix platforms. At least 1 year experience in the installation, administration and support of SSL certificates on Apache, or WebLogic web servers.
