We are seeking a technical resource to provide application and interface support and customization commercial natural gas pipeline transmission software. Your position encompasses multiple steps of the software development lifecycle so in addition to your technical skills strong business analysis skills are going to be key to your success. Role: - Work and communicate effectively with end-users is essential to gain insight into application requirements and day-to-day application support. - Translate business requirements into appropriate database and application development and supporting natural gas commercial applications. - Creating, modifying, and integrating functional applications from interpretation of business requirements. - Creating Transact-SQL stored procedures and data queries with error handling. - Debugging reports, scripts, and interfaces. - Documenting both requirements and development activities. *Qualifications* We are looking for someone who has been part of a development and support team with recent experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. This will include: - Direct experience with system design, coding, configuration, and testing. - Experience with requirements gathering and documenting use cases and process workflow. Preferred experience. - Understanding Natural Gas Pipeline Transmission terminology. - Experience with IntelliJ / Adobe Flex - Reporting using Jasper iReports, MSBI or MS Excel. - Sybase ASE 15.7 Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
