*We have a direct client opportunity, please have a look below JD and do let me know your available consultant interest in this opportunity. * *Legal and compliance PM* *Cambridge MA* *6 months* *IT Project Manager – Legal and Compliance We are seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven IT Project Manager for our Legal and Compliance Department projects. * *Candidate should be thorough, technical and collaborative as he/she will work with subject matter experts, business analysts, customers, vendors and internal business leaders to deliver solutions on time and within budget. * *The ideal candidate would possess some knowledge of Legal and Compliance department processes and technologies; such as: matter management, risk management, monitoring, annual budget planning, contract management and document management. Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage (plan, monitor, and control) multiple projects across the Legal and Compliance IT group; with a focus on milestones/deadlines, deliverables, budgets, resources, and key stakeholder relationships. - Define project scope and objectives. Must have a strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and application of industry standard project methodologies in the area of software engineering and integration projects. - Manages cross-functional strategic projects of high complexity and visibility within the organization. - Strong status reporting and management of expectations. - Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, conducting project team meetings, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. - Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of problems. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT Computer Science, or related discipline. - 3-5+ years project management leadership experience juggling multiple projects of significant scope. - 3-5+ years of IT experience with strong understanding of business analysis and the SDLC. - Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, PPT, Visio - PMP strongly preferred - Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management, as well as, business and IT subject matter experts. Experience in working as a liaison between IT and business end users. - Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated.
