Max rate to pay is : 40$/hour Columbia, MD PMP/Scheduler Long Term *Job Description* · Serve as an integral member of the Program Management Office (PMO) · Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for various projects · Generate and maintain the critical path networks and logic. Control and track changes to the schedule baseline · Determine risk with tasks within the project schedule critical path network · Coordinate and maintain with program management the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule · Provide schedule performance visibility to program management through metrics, reports, and briefings · Review, compare, and analyze schedule performance against baseline program plans · Analyze schedules and identify and make recommendations to ensure completeness while minimizing risks and promoting processes to help ensure schedule viability and usefulness to the customer, including discovery and tracking of critical paths for decision-making · Collaborate with program and project managers to derive and create metrics for process improvement · Forecast performance and perform risk analysis of schedules, and provide management with an understanding of the current schedule, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to ensure future performance *Required Skills* · Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field · Minimum of 7 years of experience in scheduling systems, to include schedule planning, schedule development, and schedule analysis · Experience involving the development of Integrated Master Schedules · Strong knowledge of SDLC phases and associated work products · Extensive knowledge of development and analysis of project schedules using MS Project · Strong knowledge of best practices for Risk Management · Extensive Project Management knowledge · Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills are strongly desired, as well as the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment · Experience with EVM and how it correlates to the project schedule · Develop schedules which serve as master plans from which customer portfolio program offices and management have an up to date picture of operations. · Identify all major events and dates · Prepare and document the exact sequence of work taking into account inter relationships between events · Relate schedules to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) clearly defining when all tasks start and finish · Identify and document time constraints, and, if possible, those resources required for each event. · Coordinate scheduled activities to complete program or project objectives within the best time, least cost, and least risk. · Develop a master schedule considering the total demand on program or project resources, including capacity of the organization, finished product or service delivery, maintenance and support needs, and any inter program or inter project needs. · Prepare Microsoft Project files to include GANTT charts indicating expected start and completion dates, and personnel resources for all critical project tasks and sub-tasks *Required Experience* · Experience in the coordination, change management and deployment of software Releases · Experienced in managing cross-functional project teams and high-visibility projects Thanks and Regards Ajay Agarwal Tecnology Resource Group Inc. 3736 Hills-Dale Court Santa Clara,CA Office: 408-709-1760; Ext: 996 Fax: 408-884-2409 Email: [email protected] Gtalk : ajay.bharatendu YIM : bharatenduajay -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
