We are hiring a developer who will work on an enterprise team developing and delivering product and data conversion solutions supporting business technology solutions for clients in the financial services and insurance verticals. We are seeking someone to be a part of a "self-managed" team following SCRUM methodology to keep our existing application systems running smoothly and help our team design and develop new technology to replace outdated systems and processes. Our technical environment includes Visual Studio 2010 & 2012, some legacy VB6 and Classic ASP, Team Foundation Server (TFS), IIS 6 & 7, Windows XP / 7, and Server 2008. Role includes: · Collaborate with our customers and other technology professionals to understand our customer's needs and help design and develop solutions to meet those needs. · Manage legacy system code base and provide input on their re-architecture & redesign. · Provide critical thinking on how we can constantly improve our technology, delivery and user experience. *Qualifications:* This role requires a passion for making high quality, innovative application solutions and proven experience in application development and leadership. Technical experience needs to include: · Background in VB.NET or C# with an in depth understanding of OOA&D and tools / technologies that support the OO paradigm. · Strong background in SQL Server & Oracle relational database analysis and design. · Ability to learn complex financial information systems flow and logic. Preferred Expertise: · Delivering software in a SCRUM environment. · Strong background in relational database development (writing T-SQL / PL/SQL queries & stored procedures) and XML related technologies. · Front-end technology such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, MVC, HTML etc... · Angular / Bootstrap Framework *Additional information directly from the manager not included in the job description:* *Although this is a 6 month contract situation, that could go longer if we find the right candidate. I am looking for a very strong web developer, who can help us build the user experience portion of the system my team has been developing. The right candidate will need to have strong Java, AngularJS, Bootstrap, ASP.Net, and C#.Net. Additionally, they need to have experience working in a Scrum environment using TFS 2012 or 2013. And, they must be experienced in doing good unit testing against their own code, but also assist with QA testing other team members code. * *Frankly, if the person had experience in leading teams that would be a bonus, because they could help me keep things moving the right way. One of the primary things we need to finish up is a single browser based UI component that will present a set of tools to authorized users that will assist with analyzing the importers performance, monitoring and tracking root cause of issues (ex.
