Senior IT Business Analyst - Manhattan WMOS *Saint Petersburg**, FL* *Rate: DOE* *Duration : Long Term* *JOB DESCRIPTION* The individual who fills this position will participate as an integral component of a dynamic team in implementing a new software solution within the HSN Fulfillment Systems IT group. The candidate will assist in the definition and design phases of a major project to implement Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management Open Systems (WMOS) for the HSN fulfillment network. *A Day in the Life* · Evaluate business requirements for enterprise business application integration, and service activation. · Deliver new or modified software solution designs, systems enhancements, and integration solutions. · Conduct and analyze business and information technology processes and prepare essential groundwork. · Focuses on developing and improving business processes at all times and assists with the development of IT and business metrics. · Identify customer requirements, track and document the development of these plans. · Work with both business and IT for problem resolutions and suggestions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations. · Document the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools. · Participate in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of system requirements. · Validate that HSN business processes are being adhered to, validation of business rules and that development is meeting the requirements of the users. · Use industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, data modeling, and object modeling. · Identify areas of potential business risk and communicate these to the Software Engineering Manager or Project Manager. · Interact internally to determine involvement, data requirements and analysis and interface with the users. *JOB REQUIREMENTS* *Keys to Success* The successful candidate will combine both systems development lifecycle knowledge and requirements gathering experience. Requirements: · Minimum 7 to 10 years of applicable experience. · Bachelor's Degree or equivalent amount of technical experience. · Experience with Manhattan WMOS implementation. · Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment systems experience. · Must display the ability to work in technical environments that use UNIX, Oracle, and SQL. · Must be systems-oriented, enjoy work with new tools, and be a self-motivated learner. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
