Experience: 7+ Years Start Date: ASAP *POSITION TITLE:* Information Architect Aide in defining the UI and model for new and existing products and features Develop high level and detailed wire frames, flow charts, and Visio prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas independently and rapidly Site-wide Interface layouts, opt-in strategies, transitions, prize claim flow, eCommerce flow, back-end IA Gauge current and anticipated site user navigation Triggered emails (existing flow charts and wireframes) Interface layouts, opt-in strategies, transitions, prize claim flow, eCommerce flow, back-end IA Gauge current and anticipated site user navigation. * * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Interact closely with Senior Online Creative Director, Online Creative Director, OPS, and Executive Management Work with internal production teams, freelance design teams, and agencies on contracted projects as directed Understand an existing interface in order to refine it into a simpler, more user-friendly tool Work with marketing, and creative to contribute to the strategy of developing advertiser and partner product Work with back-end programming staff to communicate design to technical implementation Develop creative plans for new product. * * *KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:* a) Equivalent Education Level Required Bachelors degree in related field (Masters preferred), and at least 7+ years working experience. b) Experience Required Knowledge of user-centered design processes, interaction design approaches, Web and CRM design best practices and Web standards Creativity and the ability to work independently Dependability, organization ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Entrepreneurial, creative, focused and driven Degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), architecture, behavioral sciences, or related field combined with training and/or experience in art and design Combination 5+ years of Web UI and software design/architecture experience. c) Strong wire frame and HTML skills. Experience using standard graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. d) Judgment skill to know when to defer to others Ability to be flexible, have a positive attitude, and work as part of a team to make compromises that meet the needs of all parties Demonstrated ability to maintain a calm and professional relationship with clients, coworkers, and management Committed desire to work in a fast-paced environment and excel under pressure. e) Required expertise in navigation and information design flows, as well as implementing best practices in information architecture, Web usability and UI design.
