Responsibilities: * Work closely with Tech Leads to identify technical solutions to business problems. * Execute component level development tasks with little direction. * Demonstrate the ability to create scalable software solutions based on UML diagrams and business requirements. * Mentor junior developers in new technologies. * Assure that all technical deliverables are consistent with organizational standards. * Capable of coming up to speed quickly on new tools and software. * Provide production support of existing systems as needed. Hands-on General Technology Experience: * JEE (J2EE) 1.4, 1.5 * JSE (J2SE) 1.4, 5, 6 * Spring, ORM Tools, AOP, JUnit * XML: XSD, XSLT, DTD * Web service technologies * Web presentation technologies * Database platforms * Object-oriented analysis and design skills * UML: design patterns * Advanced refactoring experience * Ability to be hands-on with tools & frameworks.
