Title: QA Tester with OBIEE posted on 2014-08-19 18:12:46 Job Description:*Title *: *QA Test Analyst with OBIEE* *Location :* Los Angeles, CA *Length :* 6+ Months Interview Type : *Phone and F2F round* *Note: Need only local candidates to CA with recent experience in OBIEE* *Position Description:* The IT Quality Assurance Specialist will perform testing activities including the following: •Perform test planning activities such as writing test plan, test cases, test reports, status reports, project related reports •Coordinate testing activities such as identify test scope, test data, test resources, test environments •Use of test tools such as Quality Center, Quick Test Pro/ Unified Functional Test, Load Runner, Bug Zero, and other industry standard test tools •Collaborate with other project team members, stakeholders, vendors, partners, or other testing related resources •Execute test activities such as test cases execution, automated test script execution, performance test script execution •Contribute to QA processes, QA methodologies, QA best practices and QA documentation •Mentor other QA team members on testing activities •Provide oversight of other team member deliverables •Provide clear guidance to other team members on producing quality and consistent test deliverables •Provide effective leadership to project team members •Train team members as needed •Represent QA team at meetings as necessary Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly; strong aptitude to quickly learn complex technical concepts Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, Word, HTML, Visio, Power Point, including the use of styles and templates, and Adobe Acrobat Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) Ability to work either independently or as part of a team with limited supervision; strong team collaboration Ability to multitask among various projects and platforms Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in a fast paced, small team environment Skilled in developing appropriate design, layout, and grammatical style standards for all materials; including training materials. *Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in the liberal arts such as English, Journalism, Communications, Business or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Graphic/Web Design, or Mathematics Training: N/A Top Job Requirements: · Must have Test Lead experience on large ERP implementation projects. · Must have recent OBIEE testing experience developing test strategies on a data warehouse project. · Must have recent QA experience in Healthcare EDI testing activities. · Must have backend database validation experience. · Must have solid SQL testing skills. · Must have recent experience writing test plans and test cases for data warehouse projects. · Must have recent Test data loading processes to make sure data reconciles. · Must have experience with testing functionality of reports and reconcile back to source systems · Must have proven analytical skills. · Should have solid understanding of the healthcare industry (claim processing workflow) · Should have solid experience in using HP Quality Center (preferably in healthcare) · Should have experience in using QTP to build test automation libraries · Should have healthcare QNXT or equivalent claims processing systems testing experience such as Facets. · Should have oversight experience over internal and external testing resources. · Should be able to handle fast pace environment.
