Develop views required to extract data for reports. Work closely with the Data Warehouse developer to design the Data Warehouse and ETL programs required to populate the database. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities * • Assist in the development of star schema data models and ETL programs to populate the database. • Assist Report developers by creating views against the Curam database to be utilized by Cognos reporting programs • Supporting implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues. • Design, test, deploy, and optimize SQL Scripts and stored procedures as required. • Ideal candidates will possess Application DBA skills and a desire to use them in optimizing database performance, security, and scalability. • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS • Knowledge of Health & Human Services applications a plus *JOB REQUIREMENTS * • 5+ years of Data Architect experience on a DB2 Curam database • 5+ years of Data Warehouse ETL Development using commercial ETL tools, preferably Informatica • Advanced SQL Scripting and Stored Procedure development expertise • Hands-on expertise in the architecture, construction, deployment, and administration of ETL frameworks • Comfortable working in a small team environment at a very fast pace • Application and/or Production DBA skills, particularly with DB2 • Strong analytical and communication skills are required • Knowledge of Health & Human Services applications a plus Please let me know if you need any more information.
