Position : Mid-Level Java Developer Max Rate : $40 /hr MAXXX Duration : 4-6 Months Location : Silver Spring, MD *EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* - Prior experience on JSP and Java applications 2. Design and development experience of high traffic public facing web sites - 6+ years of experience in software development/engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing and problem diagnosis/resolution. - 5+ years of experience in Java/JEE, Spring, Spring transactions. - 3+ years of experience in Struts/Struts2 MVC framework. - Experience with cross-browser support for web UIs and developing across all three tiers in a Java environment with Oracle or other RDBMS. - Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills including debugging code and critical and logical thinking. *Preferred Skills* - Ability to work independently, and as part of a team; strong written and verbal communication skills; - and prior working experience on Spring Security integration, Apache Camel, Apache MQ. - Prefer expertise with Java 5 features; TDD (Test Driven Development); and Jasper Reports. - Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.
