Our client is seeking a Product Manager who brings a passion for web technologies to their role as the business and technical leader for specific online platforms and products. He or she is expected to interface with the client's online technical team, production team and ad/sales team. The product manager researches new technologies and stays on top of feature enhancements for current platforms. The Product Manager is also responsible for post implementation reporting and analysis from a traffic, business and technical perspective. The position reports to the Director of Product Management. Responsibilities: . Work with the Business Owners/Content Team, Development, UI and Design teams to define a macro level approach, scope and feature set for the product. . Work with the Dev, Design, and Project Management to break up the project into logical, manageable phases. . Work with the Business Owner and stakeholders (ad sales, ad ops, networks, international, legal, etc.) to define the requirements of each phase. . Ensure both the Design and Dev solution meet requirements. . Ensure QA test plans test against documented product requirements. . Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) of product. . Conduct end-user training for internal users including writing documentation as appropriate. . Prioritize bugs, fixes and enhancements. . Conduct analysis on product through web analytics and other metrics and report on product performance. . 5+ years of product management success, within a New Media, IT, or communications technology environment. . Must have General operational knowledge of the broadcast and Internet industries. . Technical and/or editorial experience and familiarity with Agile development techniques preferred. . Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience. . Must possess outstanding communication and analytical skills. . Ability to effectively resolve problems and establish/maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization. . Must be highly organized and have strong leadership skills to direct multi-organizational teams.
