Job Description:

*Title :       Service Desk AnalystLocation: Austin, TXDuration: Permanent*

* 2 years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience required.*

*Responsibilities:*

   - Act as a single point of contact for phone calls, emails and web based
   tickets from staff regarding IT issues and queries.
   - 1st line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from
   in-house software to hardware, such as BlackBerrys, Laptops, PCs and
   Printers
   - Troubleshoot basic network issues.
   - Escalate unresolved calls to the proper support team.
   - Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system.  (BMC Remedy
   and soon to be ServiceNow)
   - Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems
   on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
   - Must maintain a high degree of customer service for all support
   queries and adhere to all service management principles.
   - Provide basic in-house training in MS Office applications used within
   the Association (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
   - Must keep aware of stats for the weekly Service Desk report on call
   Audits.
   - Basic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset
   passwords, create groups etc.
   - Blackberry and IPhone support.




Job Requirements:

   - High School Diploma.
   - Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
   - 2 years previous IT Service Desk and/or Call Centre experience
   required.
   - Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on
   Windows 7.
   - Excellent organizational skills.
   - Experience using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010 within a network
   environment (permissions, calendar sharing, and delegation).
