Responsibilities include managing for development, stage and production of MHA-C Reporting Application. Detailed duties will include the use of Architecture tools - Object Manager, Integrity Manager and Enterprise Manager to setup the metadata layer, security setup and administration, facilitate the management of the application, movement and testing of objects and performance monitoring/capacity planning of the overall system. *Specific responsibilities include*: - Lead Micro strategy 8.X expert to design and implement reporting application. Maintaining optimal performance of the reporting application, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning for multiple members on multiple projects. - Ownership of all aspects of Micro strategy Administration functions for projects, servers, user & security administration. - Managing migration of development, QA and production Micro strategy projects and objects. - Providing technical support; troubleshooting report design; monitor system usage and proactive troubleshooting. - Serving as a technical expert providing input to application design regarding production tuning and administration requirements. Develop Dashboards, Reports, assisting report developers, and participation in load testing exercises. Interacting effectively with internal stakeholders including Sr. Directors and vendors. Setup and Manage training sessions. Providing best practices for Micro Strategy Implementations. Facilitate report requirements sessions and documentation. Provide weekly status report, Issues and risks. *skill:* Senior *Required background and skills*: 7 years hands-on Administration experience with Micro Strategy 7i / 8.x including Desktop, Architect, Administrator, and server support. Must have worked as Lead or Sr. Micro strategy Expert Consultant. 7 years + experience as Micro strategy Architect and Reports Developer. Hands on experience with performance tuning VLDB, data warehouse database design and modeling. Experienced in administration of Micro Strategy Web and Intelligence servers in an UNIX environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Intelligence Server configuration settings, and experience in performance tuning. Experienced in multi-tenancy - i.e. supporting multiple business clients and multiple Micro Strategy projects on same underlying architecture. - Comprehensive knowledge in the Micro Strategy BI tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP and Report Services). - Comfortable working in a production environment with change management, defect tracking and status reporting processes.
