Analyze client business and systems processes.
· Utilize technical skills to design develop and test
technical solutions to business problems.
· Provide analytical and problem solving skills when
addressing and resolving issues
- Assess possible systems impacts, and recommend technical
solutions.
· Develop to the detailed design, and unit test at component
level
· Implement according to client development standards.
· Provide code fixes for defects that are identified by QA.
· Participate in requirements reviews and design reviews.
Desired Technical Skills:
-Knowledge of best practices for requirements documentation,
design & testing. ; - Experience with UML / Rational Rose
- Java, or DB certifications; - Financial or Mortgage
industry knowledge. ; - JEE: JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Web Services (SOAP)
DB2
- Tools: Ant, Eclipse, JUnit, Rational Rose, Rational Clear
Case, Rational Clear Quest, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Rational Rose
*Required Skills*
- Strong SQL, UNIX scripting and Java skills ;- Full SDLC
Experience ; - Relational Database Experience
- Large-scale application development experience;
Understanding of how to identify & address issues of scalability, security,
performance, maintainability, flexibility & reliability ;
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) Experience ;
- Good written and oral communications skills
