*Job Description: *The Software Engineer III is responsible for the basic
design, development and unit testing of Java applications for the RTP
Product Data Management project. This programming/coding role should have
5+ years of experience with Java. On the Product Data Management project we
are implementing a new Master Data Management system that will replace our
current product management system. This is part of a larger program that is
transforming the foundational technology that runs our business.
Responsibilities:
• Designing technical specifications of Java solutions for custom
integrations.
• Development and unit testing of custom interfaces using JDeveloper 12c
and Oracle ADF Business Components technology.
• Unit and string testing of custom integrations.
• Working with the Integration Competency Center to ensure Java
applications satisfy the requirements of SOA and ODI.
Required Work Experience/Competencies:
• Awareness of Software Development Life cycle
• Strong understanding of the Java Programming Language
• Experience using the JDeveloper application
• Experience building Java applications using Oracle ADF Business Components
• Experience with deploying Java applications onto Oracle WebLogic servers
• Experience with the Linux operating system
• Experience with Oracle databases
