The contract developer will work closely with the Lead Developer, Team Manager, Project Manager and Business Analysts for planning and direction. We work in a team-oriented environment requiring significant collaboration with other development team members and other IT team members to facilitate project completion. Will apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts. Interacts with a variety of people in the organization to impact the achievement of departmental objectives. *Requirements:* - Requires a Bachelor s in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree - 4+ years’ experience with Web and mobile application technologies, software development life cycle and development tools, or other directly related experience. - A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. - Advanced knowledge of HTML 5.0, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (especially Enyo), REST web services, JSON, iOS mobile APIs, software architecture, open-source technologies, and software development methodology. - Experience with Apache Cordova and PhoneGap. - Database design principles need to be well understood, along with the ability to work with complex database designs.
