*Duration: 6+Mts * *Rate: $50 Hr C2C * *Data Modeler* Data Mapping / Design experience with Oracle or People Soft ERP projects preferred The Data Modeler is responsible for coordinating and facilitating enterprise data modeling. Develops relational and dimensional data models based on the business needs analysis. Responsible for contributing to the design, development, implementation, documentation and upholding of modeling standards. Responsible for ensuring that the requirements that have been gathered are met through the enterprise data models that they design. The Data Modeler will need to be willing and eager to thrive in a team oriented environment where assignments are broad in nature, enthusiasm for learning is expected, and daily opportunities require independent thinking, critical analysis, and creative approaches for contributing to the development of information solutions. Will support business intelligence and promote appropriate data usage within the University community. 1. Bachelor's Degree 2. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources. 1. Three (3) or more years' experience with data analysis, data profiling, data administration or data modeling (dimensional and/or relational) 2. Two (2) or more years using data modeling/entity relationship tools (e.g. Embarcadero ER Studio, CA Erwin) 3. Proven experience utilizing data modeling techniques to translate business needs into technical solutions 4. Experience authoring PL/SQL or complex SQL 5. Experience in development and support of a Business Intelligence or data warehousing initiative 6. Experience analyzing ERP source system data structures and business processes 7. Working knowledge of relational database techniques (e.g. indexes, hints, partitions, clustering) 8.
