Please Reply to [email protected] Phone Screen Followed by In-Person Interview Must be Local to MA Position : RPG Senior Programmer Analyst Location : Westborough, MA Duration : 4.5 + Months Responsibilities: · Act in a technical capacity to complete assigned programming, testing, conversion, and implementation activities on an IBM I-series platform for projects within Distribution Services. · Responsible for analyzing Functional Requirements, preparing external and internal design documents, preparing detail program specifications, all within the approved guidelines for the System Development Life Cycle. · Act as a trouble shooter and system expert for a variety of systems problems. · Provide technical guidance, assistance and training to other members of the technical staff. Experience Required: · Strong background in software development and maintenance. · Technical skills required are: o RPG/IV o ILE o DB2/400 o SQL o WDSc · Must have significant experience in Software Engineering, Requirements Definition, database design and the design of test scenarios. · Must be knowledgeable in the full System Development Life Cycle. · Prior experience with Supply Chain Systems is a plus. · MQ Series experience is a plus.
