Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Automation Engineer* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 1 year* *Rate: $40/hr on C2C All Incl.* *Automation Engineer:* The Automation Engineer will be responsible for coding test automation frameworks and then coding tests using those frameworks under the guidance of an Automation Architect. Applications to be automated will be varied between mobile technologies and web browsers. The automation created will be packaged such that it can be used upstream by application development prior to sending the apps downstream to the testing organization. There will be a high degree of design skills required in addition to the actual coding activities. *Must haves:* · 5+ years of automation development in any of the market leading automation tools. · 5+ years experience in QTP / UFT. · Substantial experience in designing, coding, and using test automation frameworks. · Experience with automation of mobile applications using Selenium and Awetest. · Previous background as an application developer prior to entering the field of test automation. · Experience automating tests for mobile devices, iPad, and tablet simulators in Mac OSX. · Experience with smartphone and tablets hosted at mobile labs such as Perfecto Mobile or similar laboratories. · Substantial experience in component-based test design both manual and automated tests. · Proficient knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and general Agile techniques. · Experience in identifying & providing test automation solutions to reduce testing cycles on repeated tasks. · Commitment to meeting testing deadlines without compromising quality. *Nice to haves:* · 3+ years of strong experience with one or more of the following: o Selenium 2.0 / Web-Driver. o Automated testing techniques. o Framework using Java or Ruby. · 3+ years of hands on scripting experience in mobile automation using tools like Perfecto Mobile, See-test, Device Anywhere etc. and their integration with Selenium 2.0 and Awetest. · 2+ years of hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Source Control tools such as Jenkins, AntHill Pro, Bamboo, Git, Stash, SVN, Subversion or equivalent. · Expertise in HP testing technology for test case management, defect tracking & status reporting using HP ALM (QC) & functional / automation Cross Browsers testing using HP UFT (QTP). · Strong verbal & written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical associates. · Desire and ability to learn new skills and improve upon current skills-set. · High degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits in a challenging, fast-paced environment. · Ability to comprehend complexity, to fully understand a product with all of its business and technological implications, and to approach the improvement of its quality from that perspective. · Ability to utilize Automation Testing Framework(ATF) to create a Robust/Reliable/Repeatable automation test bed. · Experience with BDD/ATDD using Ruby, Ruby gems(Cucumber, RSpec, Gherkins), Calabash/Capybara, Watir. · Knowledge of web services technologies (i.e. Rest, Soap) & API testing. · Knowledge of virtual environments using VM Ware & Microsoft technologies. · Coordinate testing with cross-functional QA teams. · Good Understanding of web security standards and mobile app security. · Demonstrate analytic, problem solving skills.
