Location: Houston, TX (Locals only) Duration: 12+ Mts Rate: DOE In-person interview in Houston. Responsibilities Support for GCRO data collection and information analysis of multi-platform repository projects: ? Consult on unstructured and structured data requirements definition? Perform data analysis on internal and externally sourced data sets? Manage throughput of data sets being processed? Prepare data packages based on end user requests for information? Research and identify metadata, including the capture of business context for collected data sets? Consult with business groups and IT&S to resolve information questions? Consult with business groups and IT&S to find information sources? Load and manage documents and views in SharePoint Deliverables? Gathering, analysing, and articulating business requirements in technical terminology? Identify, capture and respond to requests for information and prepare end user consumable responses that satisfy business questions? Document data sets within the organization, including documenting data set metadata and business context? Write data loading/verification scripts/stored procedures using T-SQL? Work with the IT&S team to provide administrative and support in the SharePoint environment? Status reporting - IT&S and Business? Assist the wider project team in problem resolution? Facilitate security administration Experience & Knowledge Essential? Experience in an IT Business Analyst role? Experience in a Data Analyst role? Experience with MS SQL Server: T-SQL and reporting tools? Experienced with data research, including the ability to query, search and extract content from relational and unstructured content repositories? Experience with SharePoint and ability to administer application security? Strong ability to interact with non-IT personnel to ensure adherence to process and timely resolution of requests? Exposure to information classification (Taxonomy development)? Experience with search tools (as IT or an end user)? Strong structured and unstructured content analysis skills? Strong communicator with both business users and technical project staff ? High self-motivation and strong delivery focus? Strong organizational and time management skills ? Energy (Oil & Gas) experience ? Proficiency with using MS Office products Preferred ? Prior experience within the environment ?
