*Here are the requirement details* *Position: Project Manager* *Location: Santa Fe, NM* *Duration: 12 months* The New Mexico Department of Information Technology is looking for a Project Manager to handle the following projects: - Microsoft Exchange Transistion and Hardware Refresh - Wire New Mexico – Analog to Digital Conversion - Data Center Infrastructure Upgrade We will be putting together a Project Management contract to cover the position and would hope to award the contract in the September/October timeframe. The duration will be nine to twelve months to complete the projects. - The Microsoft Exchange team has been preparing an RFP that will be released in the near future. The PM will work with the team and the winning bidder to build a new eMail system for the State of New Mexico. This will constitute about 60% of the work. - The Analog to Digital conversion has been an ongoing project for a number of years. The PM will work with the senior technical staff to track progress and expenditures and provide reports to senior management. This will constitute about 10% of the work. - The Data Center Infrastructure will be done in conjunction with the IT Consolidation project as well as other data center upgrades. The primary focus of this part will be the network rewiring effort as part of the consolidation effort.
