I’d be willing to consider a developer with migration experience… any would be preferred but 3.1 to 4.1 is what the project will be doing. *Job Description:* The *Business Objects Solution Architect* will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions on concurrent projects and enhancements for existing software and reporting application systems. Additionally, the Solution Architect will assist in the pre-sales and proposal process to grow additional business in their assigned programs/agencies. *Ideal Candidate will:* · Have significant experience overseeing and executing SAP Business Objects platform migrations · Able to lead projects. Broad BOBJ experience including BusinessObjects Enterprise platform, Crystal, WebI, Xcelsius, and Voyager. Ability to position all these products correctly in an enterprise solution. · Lead large cross functional teams including management of client staff assigned to implementation team in the completion of one or more solution requirements, architecture, or implementation deliverables. · Provide consulting advice to customer senior Information Technology (IT) leadership and set strategic direction for customers. · Provide technical direction required to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations. · Design and monitor construction of an enterprise data warehouse · Design and monitor construction of user-facing presentation tools · Design and monitor construction of ETL processes · Design and monitor development of SDK code and tools · Define best practices and standards for the data modeling process · Define and guide delivery of effective reporting and analytics · Work with a variety of teams and clients, mentoring junior resources, and effectively handling multiple tasks/deadlines with success · Possess excellent communication and documentation skills, especially when communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience for proposals or in-person presentations · Demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivation to keep abreast of emerging technologies and pick up new skillsets quickly. · Ability to travel a must. *Preferred Experience:* · Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex data platform architectures for various financial reporting purposes. · Strong experience leading clients through technology/data/BI strategy roadmap exercises · Strong experience in data modeling (Normalization, Star Schema, “The Vault”) · Strong experience in data architecture (Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Staging). · Understanding of traditional DBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc. · Strong experience designing relational and multi-dimensional models. · Strong experience with data warehousing technologies and ETL tools. · Experience/Exposure to OBIEE, IBM Cognos or equivalent BI tools a plus. *Requirements:* · Bachelor’s Degree 6+ years of experience in the Business Intelligence field in a data warehouse environment which includes data design, data integration, database architecture and report creation Thanks & Regards, Rani Adari Sr. IT Recruiter Tech Tammina 203 Elden Street Herndon, VA-20170 Call: 703-880-4992 Fax: 703-991-5532 [email protected] www.tammina.com GTalk:raniadarii -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
