Creating objects and views within a database* Job Description: The Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining reporting applications and tools for internal customers across functional areas. This role may also assist in maintaining data integrity and product or distributing data and reports. Accountabilities: 1. Gather data, evaluate specifications and determine key requirements/project outcomes to successfully set expectations and meet customer needs regarding reporting request 2. Interface with internal customers to gather requirements and provide recommendations on data and reporting needs 3. Develop, maintain and enhance database modules and system components 4. Create queries and maintain reliability of reporting tools 5. Estimate, monitor and document project hours for scoping reporting requests 6. Follow quality controls and processes to ensure report requests are completed within specified guidelines, on time and within scope of project 7. Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to developed applications, reports and associated processes and procedures 8. Establish and manage project expectations with client group 9.
