Position : SAP BW customer support Location: Houston, TX Length: 9/2010 Rate: $38 MAX RATE This position needs a candidate to support various *SAP BW customer issues*. Candidate must have at least *2 years of experience working in an Application Support role within SAP BW*. This Support Role experience should have been in SAP BW with the ability to drill down into specific SAP BW: Transactions, Report Queries, Data Loads, and Interfaces in order to research/solve issues. This position is on an Application Support Desk Team that needs a SAP BW Candidate who has a thorough knowledge of SAP BW and R/3 to increase First Call Resolution (FCR) of our customer requests. Role requires frequent phone interface with customers, and the successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and a sense of urgency when escalating critical support issues to adjunct teams. *IDOC/EDI processing knowledge would be a plus. Knowledge of SAP R/3 FI/PS/SC/SD/MM/PM/APO, would be helpful. SAP BW Experience in the Oil, Gas, Lubricants, and/or Pipeline Business would also be a plus. * Others: • Highly responsive, customer-focused, yet is able to provide a differentiated service response for user requests/issues depending on the application • Strong problem analysis and trouble-shooting skills • Very good learning attitude • Strong relationships with others involved in providing end-to-end support (infrastructure, supplier, etc.) • Able to assess & handle critical situations, and co-ordinate with many team players to restore normal IT service • Good time management skills; able to multi-task • Experience in global or virtual team working • Able to work in a cross-functional, multi-application, multi-service providers environment -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
