The Contractor will rework the existing environment cloning procedures and create process documentation to enable more efficient and less error prone cloning procedures using Oracle best practices. These cloning procedures will assist in creating test environment in a timely manner in the future in support of development, testing, and patching procedures. The third objective is for the Contractor to work with and train existing company Oracle database staff in proper patching procedures for the Oracle E Business suite environment. The final objective for this resource is to re-architect and migrate the existing Production and UAT E Business suite environments to a high availability and disaster recovery solution that closely matches that of the projects database and supporting project applicationsThe Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management. Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Administrators have a range of skills and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the Application Team.Planning physical and logical design of Oracle EBusiness Suite instances Required 5 Years Cloning Oracle EBusiness Suite instances for testing purposes Required 5 Years Patching Oracle Ebusiness Suite Required 5 Years Experience in FSG reporting Required 5 Years Experience with E-Business Suite Migration Required 5 Years Experience mentoring / training team members on process and best practices Required 1 Years IBM AIX 64 OS Required Experience with developing comprehensive technical design documents Required Troubleshoot data related issues, fixing bugs & issues with concurrent programs Required Experience with E-Bus R12 General Ledger implementation, systems upgrade and patching. General Ledger Release 12 preferred.
