*Tableau Developer* *Denver, CO* *1yr Contract* *Rate: $60/hr on C2C* *Locals are Highly Preferred!!!* *We just placed 2 Consultant with this client and they are looking for 1 more.* *DESCRIPTION:* The Engineer is responsible for custom report definition, report development, data quality testing and drawing conclusions for Contact Management at Comcast. These activities will be centered on IVR, ICM, Truck Roll and application performance among other areas. The Engineer will also assist in Business Intelligence management efforts taking part in architecture, design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment tasks within the Business Intelligence area. The Engineer will share this information with various business operations organizations within Comcast to help drive improvements. *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; · 3+ years’ experience in the business intelligence area with report/dashboard/scorecard development. · Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills. · Must be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the organization. · Experience with Tableau and/or Cognos as a report writer/developer. · Advanced metrics collection, reporting and business intelligence experience required. Ability to develop custom solutions a must. · Strong understanding of data warehouse environment and relational databases. · Any experience with Datameer for analytics. · Superior analytical and creative problem solving skills. Demonstrated successes in data analysis, drawing conclusions and improvement. · Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office. · 3 + years related experience in the telecommunications/cable industry *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Design, develop and test reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Tableau and/or other BI UI tools as necessary to visualize all needed data sources for the organization. · Deploy report level objects from development through production including all needed environments. · Help develop architecture and solutions for overall BI platform, involving Tableau, Cognos, Pentaho, Netezza, or other BI applications. · Work across Comcast organizations (e.g. care, finance, CET, program management) to understand key drivers and dependencies. Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
