*Title: Business Systems Analyst with Investments* *Location: NY, Boston/CT or DE* *Rate: $55 Hr C2C* *Duration: Long Term* This position analyzes reference data and pricing data feed issues, recommends solutions and leads process improvements in support of system objectives. Position participates in data stewarding activities supporting security reference management, benchmark and analytics, and pricing functions. Position works under the general direction of the Investment Data Manager and partners with customer and stakeholder groups to identify business opportunities, minimize risk, and implement solutions. Position documents issues and recommendations and serves as liaison between Investment Data and Pricing customers and suppliers, as well as with all technology areas. Requires advanced analytic skills for resolving complex issues; offers technical expertise and guidance in support of Investment Data and Pricing workflow needs. Monitors daily feeds, troubleshoots issues, and maintains code translations. Need to have - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing) - Strong focus around data analysis and integration of data across OLTP and DW systems - Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks, coordinating with people at all levels - Strong facilitation skills; ability to conduct meetings to gather data requirements - Liaise with developers, analysts, testers, production support to ensure results meets requirements - Ability to map data from vendor files to systems and conduct gap analysis - SQL Server T-SQL familiarity An ideal candidate would have experience in securities, portfolios, benchmark data, analytics, positions ratings, etc. The experience should span both the equity and fixed income space. SQL querying skills are important as the position is 100% allocated to the Front Office Investments data team. It’s a new position due to the amount of data the team has generated and will be working with the BA on the team as well as the other developers (Informatica). Alot of the role will be focusing on navigating the data and integrations between systems. This person may “open” informatica but won’t need to code in it.
