This is for my direct client opening for* Siebel OBIEE Expert – NY* .This is a *6 months* contract position. The hourly rate is DOE. Requirement Notes: My client is looking for an OBIEE expert to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support Business Intelligence technical solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) /Siebel Analytics. The position will augment a team that is implementing high-performance, highly-scalable data mining systems by exposing reports to the user community.Primary responsibilities will include designing and developing metadata to meet specific customer requirements aswell as test reports and dashboards to meet user requirement; customize the look and feel to meet user’s expectations (must know how to create a great user interface and be able to modify core look and feel of OBIEE like widgets and HTMLs); create customizable reports that will be accessed by end users; create extensible framework that allows advanced users to customize and create new report; participate in schema and ETL review and provide feedback on their impact to the OBIEE project and suggest improvements. The Candidate will also need to apply skills to complete design, documentation, coding, generation of unit tests, integration testing and other work that may be necessary to help the team achieve release software product: * Diagnose and resolve defects in code. * Support QA production operation group and user base as needed. * Review business problems and design appropriate solutions utilizing Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) The Candidate MUST be able to customize in a complex way and modify the UI at an expert level; customize OBIEE look and feel for optimal user experience; customize OBIEE widgets by overriding JavaScript implementation; possess the ability to implement simple HTML user interface that calls OBIEE predefined report.Possessing an understanding of OBIEE Web services capabilities a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills; hold a four-year degree in Computer Science, Business or MIS; and have a consulting background. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to meet with clients. Siebel/OBIEE Certification a PLUS.
