Title: Front-End Web Developer Contract Duration: 11 months + Location: Newark, New Jersey $55 c2c RATE Minimum Requirements: *Qualifications* · A minimum of 2+ years of recent UI application development experience. · Expertise in client-side web technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5. · Practical experience in design techniques for web UI applications including Web 2.0 technologies. · Deep experience in a range of JavaScript toolkits, alternative tools, and open-source libraries used to deliver rich, creative, and effective web applications and user experiences. · Experience with responsive web design. · Familiarity with mobile platform application UI delivery. · Experience with Spring MVC · Experience writing JavaScript unit tests. An ideal candidate will have the ability to build rich, cross-browser compatible, responsive web pages leveraging JavaScript, CSS 3, and HTML 5 and will be responsible for translating UX designs to HTML prototypes. You should have an affinity for UX and have experience in creating user-interfaces as well as an eye for detail and a desire to create polished UI. Description: *Preferred Qualifications* · Experience using jQuery, YUI or some other front end framework · Proficiency in Java and an understanding of Web Services · Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. Selenium) is a plus. · Knowledge of modern best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations · Experience working in an agile development environment Ideal Candidate would be a (Modernizer) - Someone who is up to date/awareness of emerging technolgies. Someone who knows angular. Also someone who can hit the ground running with front end development and can take mock up and run with it.
