Position : COBOL Technical Consultant / Designer Location : SAINT PETERSBURG ,FL Duration : 11 Months *Skills and Experience Required :* - COBOL, UNIX, Customer/1- (C1) minimum of 5 years, IT Utility Industry, - Experience with designing customer information and billing systems, - Design B35and execute test plans that closely model daily business processes - Work with users to determine specific user needs and translates them to system requirements/changes. - Produce functional design documentation describing changes required to support those needs. - Understand specific user functional area from an industry and functional perspective. - Review technical and detail designs to ensure the design meets user requirements. - Apply appropriate technical, industry, and functional knowledge to all work efforts. - Produce complete and accurate documentation for work based on current documentation standards. - Effectively manage and control own tasks, able to supervise others performing similar tasks at an equal or lower level. - Understand how own work contributes to adding value and supports Accenture‘s mission, vision, and guiding principles. - Operate with a high degree of autonomy and provides advice/escalates issues when team is faced with complex problems/issues. - Work effectively as part of a team and seek to support the team’s goals above individual goals. - Continually broaden own technical, functional, and industry skill base. - Suggest ways to better accomplish assigned tasks.
