*Position: Network Support Spec* *Location: Santa Rosa CA-Only locals* *Duration: 6 Months* Provides support of technical analysis for network systems, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. Performs the installation, modification, testing, and servicing on all internal/in-house data communications network equipment. Conducts analysis and prepares reports. Assists in the recommendation for improvements and the development of technical standards associated with company network systems. This job role includes all network support roles, includes Telecommunications, Data, and Video technical support. Typically, the specialist level supports the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems of customers. Functions are providing semi-difficult software/hardware support on standard systems, investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems on selected network products. Assist in the development of new internal programs or modifications of current systems. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Requires 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. *Note*: There will be times when the candidate is on call or needed to work after hours. Must be flexible. *REQUIRED*: - 4+ years Cisco Networking experience - 2+ years wireless experience - Cisco routing protocols experience.
