C++ Developer with C#, MFC Austin, TX 1 year This position will involve working on a high performance desktop application used for complex financial transaction. Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria: - At least 5 years of software development experience is required. - Strong Windows desktop application development experience using C, C++, C# and MFC. - Strong analytical & debugging skills. - Strong multi-threaded programming experience. - MS SQL / Relational database development - UI development experience. - Knowledge of the Win32 API - TCP/IP - Client-server - Team focused (has worked with teams on same code base). - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Great attitude. - Works well with business partners. - Experience working on distributed applications is a plus. - Experience with developing Windows applications with .NET is a plus. - Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Foundation is a plus. Web development experience is not relevant to this position. The candidate should be able to work well in a team environment, be willing to share their knowledge with others and assist them when needed, and be receptive to diverse opinions. The candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
