*Position: Java Developer* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 6+ Months* . *Need 10years EXP:* *Role Description:* This is a senior developer role, however in this role you are expected to still be very hands on. You will need to interact with clients (Enterprise Architecture Heads, Senior Managing Directors and Directors responsible for IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture functions, IT Development/Engineering Managers, Senior and Lead Developers/Engineers) *You will be responsible for the following functions:* • Understanding existing environments, architecture, applications, platforms and tool sets • Design New Applications and Enhance existing applications on the Cloud and Big Data platforms that support Distributed Caching and Massively Parallel computing • Implement solutions using Java and other next generation Cloud and Big Data technologies • Design and Implement Applications using the CARMA (Cloud Architecture Reference Model for Applications) PaaS standard and other open cloud standards • Assist in migration of existing Enterprise Applications to the Private Cloud including Data Migration Tools, Adaptors and Connectors • Work with the CTO and Chief Architects on designing solutions and proof of concepts and pilot implementations in response to Client Opportunities, RFPs and Tenders • Make Demos and Presentations, organize and conduct Trainings for CARMA based Clouds and Interact with the CARMA developer community in your City *Skills Needed:* It is important that you are still a hands on programmer/coder/software engineer. (If you do not code actively and are not a hands on Architect or Engineering/Development Manager then this role is not right for you.) • Prior Experience as an Lead Developer or Application/Software/Solution Developer or Architect with a Financial Institution (Preferably in Equity Trading and Execution systems) • Strong knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Gemfire, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring XD and Spring AoP • Deep understanding of Core Java, Collections, I/O, Multithreading, OO concepts, Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns • Strong Hands on Experience in building High Performance Caching and Scaleable/Grid Computing systems • Strong Hands on Experience in working with large data sets and distributed databases • Hands on Experience on Any Five or More enabling Open Source technologies and tools including MongoDB, Hadoop, Lucene, RedHat/Ubuntu/CentOs Linux, MySQL, Play Framework, Apache, Tomact, Nginx, Jenkins, Xen, Open Nebula, Zookeeper, Maven, ANT, Eclipse • Recent Programming experience in writing Multi-threaded Java Applications • Recent Programming experience in writing both Object Oriented and Functional Programming • Understanding of Equity/Mortgage/Fixed Income and other financial instruments is an additional plus *Thanks & Regards.* [image: invicktus-logo-no-bkgnd.jpg] *KRISH* *INVIC**K**TUS, INC* *Direct:* *248-438-5775* *www.invicktus.com <http://www.invicktus.com/>* *Email*: *[email protected] <http://invicktus.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
