*Job Title: Perl/C++ Programmer*
*Location: Atlanta, GA*
*Contract: 6 Months*
*Rate: $45/HR on C2C.*
*Job Description*
Lead technology team representative responsible for a lockbox processing
site with programming responsibilities that range from simple to complex.
This position will interact with on-site operations staff, implementations,
customer service, other WF technical groups and the customer. This
position works independently from a larger programming team supporting a
network of 15 lockbox sites. The programmer will analyze customer
requirements and convert them into data files for delivery to the
customer. The programmer will also work directly with operations staff to
design efficient processes and create programs on the platform to implement
these processes. This position will be responsible for end-to-end customer
support, working directly with operations to resolve any customer issues
within strict SLA guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of programming with an object oriented language
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years object oriented programming in C++ and Perl
- 80% of the programming is Perl
- Programming experience in a Unix environment
- Bash shell scripting
- Experience with file transmission protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, FTP, NDM)
- Scripting experience with an interpreted language (eg. Perl, Python,
Ruby, VB)
- Experience using CVS or other revision control applications
- Ability to plan and accomplish work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated strong analysis and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lockbox and the Receivables Information Delivery System
(RIDS) platform
- FreeBSD Unix and Red Hat Linux System Administration including
virtualization
- Mainframe knowledge
