customer is looking for 10-12 Network Engineers (breakdown below) with a
strong technical background in infrastructure design including servers,
storage and networking. Smart savvy candidates who understand data,
networks and integration and have worked for large service providers such
as Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Apple, Google would be perfect for this role.
*Need 2-3 with solid CISCO, Juniper, IP Multicast*
*Need 3-4 with CISCO and recent experience with QOS/IP multicast *
*Need 2-3 with a strong security focused background working in network*
*engineering*
*Need 2-3 who *have software based network skills who can do scripting in
Python, Yang for examples, someone who has a network/software focused
background who can write API's to the software This is the Infra Network
Layer supporting VOD Architecture for 4K delivery and this touches many
areas such as the application folks, hardware (set top boxes) wireless,
streaming, radio bridge, multicast, security etc..
Will accept out of state candidates and will hire from Skype.
Will be responsible for the following:
Oversee in-house projects ensuring requirements are met, design reviews
are held, budgets/timelines/priorities are respected, documentation is
maintained, and final hand-offs with training are performed.
Attending project scoping meetings to gather technical requirements.
Understand key design concepts including latency, scalability, efficiency
and failover Facilitate communication and problem solving support across
cross-functional teams/departments and provide information efficiently to
all management levels on outstanding issues, project activities, and
progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's & Master degree preferred.
8-10 years leading large scale service provider projects and cross
functional teams.
Must be extremely organized with the ability to articulate thoughts in a
clear and concise manner, lead by positive example, possess excellent
interpersonal skills to develop healthy trustful relationships with
customers, vendors, superiors, peers, and subordinates alike.
Must have practical experience with QOS/IP multicast technology projects and
be familiar with software development methodologies.
Experience with Agile SCRUM Development
IT Technology certifications a definite advantage (CISCO, Microsoft,
CompTIA, VMWare, SAN/NAS, Oracle)
