*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Job Title: System Business AnalystLocation: NYC & Jamaica, QueensDuration: 6 MonthsDirect Client PositionRate: $40-45/hr C2CIn person interviewJob Description: The IT Strategy & Program Management Office division of the MTA IT Department is seeking a temporary consultant to serve as an onsite Business Analyst to perform business and system analysis; develop specifications and necessary documentation in compliance with MTA standards and procedures and to assist in testing systems to deliver technology solutions to the MTA business users.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Assist the PMO with overall Business and System Analysis for technology related initiatives.Perform analysis of business processes, business and system requirements and system design for the development and configuration of software applications that support MTA business requirementsEmploy structured modeling techniques and tools to describe business functions, processes, information and technology designsDefine, design and author project business, functional and technical requirements Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training usersPrepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsDevelop and maintain technical and standard documentation for program development activity in a timely and high quality mannerMaintains system protocols by writing and updating proceduresDevelop and maintain of system and functional test plans that adequately test the defined requirements and functionsDocument As-Is and To-Be process flows for existing and future systemsCoordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews, requirements, and various status reports Adhere to a Standard Project Development Lifecycle approachDevelop and support critical project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from Initiation and Requirements stages through Design, Development, Test, Implementation and Closeout.
