Position: Messaging EngineerLocation: Tampa, FLDuration: 6 Months  *Knowledge
and Skills Required:*


   - Experience in managing  Exchange 2010,Cisco IronPort, Blackberry,
   Symantec Enterprise Vault, and related Messaging & Collaboration
   technologies
   - Working knowledge of Windows 2008, AD, VMware, SAN, and different
   hardware architectures.
   - Working knowledge of network services such DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and LDAP
   directories, etc.
   - Working knowledge in PowerShell or scripting language to automate
   daily tasks or engineering procedures.
   - Experience with Domino Server configuration and troubleshooting
   (Optional)
   - Excellent documentation, communication, and customer service skills.


*Position Summary:*
The UC Engineer must have experience in providing operational & engineering
support (incident, request, change, and problem management) for all the
technologies supported by Messaging and Collaboration Team. The
technologies includes:  Exchange 2010, Outlook, Cisco Iron port, Symantec
Enterprise Vault, Blackberry Enterprise Server, SMTP Relays,
anti-virus/anti-spam, workflow deployments, Internet Messaging Gateways,
SharePoint, etc.

*Principal Responsibilities:*

   - Perform Daily/Weekly/Quarterly Health checks to ensure overall
   availability and stability of all Messaging and Collaboration
   Infrastructure technologies supported.
   - Provide 3rd level support, resolve incidents and escalation of
   aforementioned systems.  Collaborate with internal support groups to
   increase efficiency of 1st/2nd level call resolution as well as minimizing
   support escalation of incidents or problems with process improvement or
   automation.
   - Experience in performing client level troubleshooting for
   Exchange/Outlook/Lotus Notes/Domino/Blackberry, mail routing, etc.
   - Engineer and develop tools and scripts for automating daily
   administration tasks, monitoring, etc.
   - Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of daily, weekly,
   monthly, system maintenance, release updates, upgrades, fine tuning, and/or
   new technology deployments.
   - Manage and participate in infrastructure projects or tasks (upgrades,
   migrations, maintenance, and new technology) to completion with minimal
   supervision.
   - Perform and participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery
   testing, component testing, etc.
   - Create and develop detail documentation for users and L1/L2 support
   staff for requests and self-service questions and resolution
   - Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
