This role will manage the detailed activities of test analysts and test leads. This includes providing direction and approving test strategies, test plans, test data creation, and timeline management. The Quality Assurance DW Team Lead/Management has accountability for the delivery of all testing activities for their aligned projects and is responsible for providing status to senior leadership. Testing activities on the team involve the use of both manual and automated testing tools, test scripts, test plan creation, and defect tracking and reporting. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, test estimation skills, and the ability to work independently to meet all target dates and expectations. This candidate must have extensive experience leading testing teams and core data warehousing skills. Ab Initio or System Analysis experience preferred, not required. *The Quality Assurance DW Team Lead/Management will be responsible and accountable for all team work products and activities including:* · Defining approach to validating capabilities · Developing testing strategies and testing plans, including, functional testing, non-functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, deployment testing, ETL job execution (Control M) testing, and error handling testing · Working with business to understand requirements · Identifying the types of testing and test scenarios to validate capabilities · Defining and mocking-up test data needed to execute testing · Working with operations team to coordinate the build of the testing environment for the initiative · Developing comprehensive and reusable test cases · Facilitating UAT activities with the business team · Tracking defects and report on testing progress and results · Demonstrate 10+ years of data warehousing and testing experience *Qualified candidates must have experience with the following:* · Data warehousing · Test strategy and test plan development · Test data creation · Leading testing resources · Test environment requirements management and environment build oversight · Test effort estimation *Technologies include Ab Initio, DB2, Cognos, FTP, Toad, Quality Center, Clear Case, Control M, PowerPoint, Word and Excel* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
