*Title: Application Support Analyst or * *Programmer Analyst or a Production Support Analyst* *Location: **Baltimore, MD* *Duration: 12+Mts* *Rate: $40 Hr C2C (Max, No Neg)* *Top Three Skills: * 1) 1-3 years of experience of scripting experience, preferably with Perl (could also have powershell, shell, sql, unix, etc.) 2) 1-3 years of experience with relational database concepts (Oracle preferred, but not required). 3) Strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience in a windows application support environment. *Job Description: * Will support a pricing application so that they can be reviewed 4-7PM after investments end in order to have out to the newspapers and Nasdaq in time. Will support other back office investment applications from 10AM-4PM (accounting, data warehouse, funding, etc.) As a member of the team, the individual will develop low to moderately complex scripts or programs within the business applications that support or enhance existing batch processes in the Production Support environment. There are several batch jobs than run every day/night and can be automated with scripts (Perl, Power Shell, Shell, Unix, Lan/Wan based apps, Sql, Autosys- job scheduling, Eagle). Perl is currently the preferred scripting language.
