AGILE EXP MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Technology (65%) a.. Collect testing requirements, develop test plans, and establish timelines for testing critical paths in the system infrastructure b.. Script tests using Silk Performer with the aid of developers to understand and incorporate into the test, the way users will be using the application in production c.. Execute stress, load, and capacity tests for internal and customer facing applications to gauge environmental impact d.. Consider and assess the impact of changes or problems within the environment e.. Analyze results to summarize key findings f.. Escalate any application related issues to developers for problem identification and resolution (such as impacts on performance, errors, etc.) g.. Escalate any environment related issues to appropriate groups for problem identification and resolution (such as impacts on performance, errors, etc.) h.. Provide developers, application support staff and others with reports that summarize results and analysis of the tests i.. Consistently look for opportunities to automate activities and gain efficiencies within the team's processes and reporting j.. Develop a working knowledge of Borland, Silk Performer tool k.. Perform some off hour tasks (testing) l.. Develop a working knowledge of Thomson's patented data storage and retrieval platform m.. Utilize software engineering and relational database tools to query and transform data n.. Utilize web development tools to maintain and improve report delivery systems o.. Develop a working knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools p.. Provide timely in-depth analysis to customers q.. Improve timeliness and quality of information r.. Demonstrate ability to solve problems independently Team Engagement & Communication (15%) a.. Work effectively in a team environment b.. Establish and develop effective working relationships within RMG and with various external development groups c.. Communicate in a professional manner in person and via e-mail when interacting with team members and customers d.. Deliver regular status updates and test summaries to project team and management e..
