Good exposure to optimization and performance management of Middleware technologies. · Experience on Migration of applications from legacy hardware to new hardware, from one Operating System to another · Doing Proof of Concept for any new middleware technology/Products. · Good understanding of L2/L3 support activities in Middleware technology WebSphere MQ Series. · Good exposure in MQ Design, Architecture, Configuration, Deployment and Troubleshooting of MQ issues. · Experience in MQ objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, Channels and Listeners required for the application MQ connectivity · Setup naming standards for the Queue Managers, Queues and Channels · Experience in Installation and configuration of WebSphere MQ on UNIX (Solaris/IBM AIX/HP-UX/etc…), Linux and Windows operating systems. · Experience on upgrading MQ version and Fix Pack installation on UNIX and iSeries platforms. · Good experience in configuring SSL Security configurations for Queue Manager on MQ Server. · Expertise in configuration of High Availability for MQ Servers using MQ Clusters and MQ clustering solution. · Installation and configuration of Omegamon XE for messaging agents to monitor the MQ Components. · Creation of Message Broker and Configuration Manager Components on UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems · Facilitate and suggest Automation scripts in current environment to perform manual day to day activities like deployment & operation activities · Performance fine-tuning and Patch Management, Sizing & Publishing new websites on production servers as per client requirement, Troubleshooting & resolving the escalated issues by analyzing logs & thread dumps and coordinating with respective vendors, Very good understanding and working experience in UNIX (Solaris/IBM AIX/HP-UX/etc…), Linux and Windows operating systems. · Mentoring, talent management and recruitment, knowledge management.
